Few of the employees are decent folks

Cons

- Salary is well below market average, no merit based increases - lack of real flexibility; management likes to say there is flexibility but telling employees they work during snow storms or use leave when the government is closed is hardly flexible - management for some contracts are more like line supervisors and lack any real management or people skills - Serco seems to hire the aberrant employee - low morale - some of the “managers” are unprofessional, rude and bullies

Pros

Benefits are good. Plenty of overtime. Great coworkers. Pay is ok. If you travel they pay for hotel and rental car, also get per diem

Cons

Management is unorganized. Supervisor expects you to do there job while they sit in office. Management gets upset if you take a day off. Schedules constantly. Expect you to work night shift without differential. They make overtime mandantory. Im glad a got away.

Serco offered it's supervisors an average salary with ok benefits. Nice while I lasted. Room for some advancement with the company.

Cons

They do not treat their employees very well. They say one thing and do another. We did not know that we were losing our job until we saw it on the news. They base decisions on flawed data.
