In regards to temp-to-hire, it is a common practice used by many companies to support an immediate work need and offer an employment evaluation period to both the employer and employee. It is by no means a practice of "free labor to skirt the law." At Serpa Packaging Solutions, we strive to ensure that all temp. employees are properly informed of their assignment and treated well as employees should be. Our temp. employees are also paid fairly and may be eligible for benefits/perks through their representing staffing agency. Unfortunately, the experience and service between a temporary employee and his or her staffing agency is outside of our control, but we certainly do our share to ensure an excellent experience!
