Pros

Entry level positions are very easy to attain if you have an above average work ethic and show up on time everyday. The positions pay an above average hourly rate for the type of work that is being done.

Cons

None of the managers I have had can manage a group of people. Their leadership ability is what will make working for the company difficult. They tend to contract out to temp agencies which bring undesirable workers who cause more problem than it is worth. Which would be a major problem if the temps didn't quit after a week.

I enjoyed the independence of the job. Got my work done and that was it. Worked around my schedule. Met a lot of people.

Cons

Some of the Meijer employees weren't very friendly. Pay could have been better. The sales rep that I worked for was very demanding and over bought.

Your tasks vary day by day You'll learn how to build displays of all sorts which could be beneficial in the future

Cons

Chances of working more than 30 hours a week are very slim The amount of displays that need to be built can be overwhelming at times
