Pros

- The onboarding experience was tailored to my role, very prescriptive, very automated and offered a series of highly engaging sessions with key stakeholders. - Competitive salary offered from the get-go, resulting in limited need for further negotiation. - Benefits offered are top-tier, at par with other Silicon Valley tech firms. - As a Canadian hire, the regional benefits were also well catered for geography. - Although my role is remote, the office setup is fantastic with all the modern amenities, from relaxation areas, entertainment, free snacks, drinks, and very well-equipped desks to plug into for the day.

Cons

- Tuition reimbursement for Canadian employees is not at par with US counterparts, although still very competitive. - Several of the onboarding programs have permanently shifted to a virtual model, which may not be optimal for some learners who prefer in-person sessions.

Pros

Good company culture. Folks are willing to help and instruct new hires. WLB is reasonable, but can pick up near release deadlines. Compensation is decent for the location, and improves a lot with annual RSU refreshers.

Cons

Tech stack is a bit outdated and monolithic. Some doubts around technical leadership at times.
