Pros

This is the best place I have ever worked. The people are great. Sure, we work hard, but we have fun too. Work is abundant and we have done a good job getting it done right while our business continues to grow.

Cons

With significant growth it is important to communicate regularly and effectively. Keep having the monthly calls and listen closely to what the employees delivering the work are saying. Let's get together as often as we can and take time to enjoy what we are doing. We need more training and development activities, although the 8th Habit Leadership Development Program was terrific and so was the Tech Talk this last week.

Hard work and efficiency makes for personal satisfaction at the end of the day. Paid time off when needed with no questions asked. Flexible scheduling with a little notice

Cons

Can feel left behind without much time to grow outside of your position. Working from home can be draining with tight deadlines.

I'm glad you find your work satisfying and that our flexible time-off policy is working well for you, but not so glad to hear you're feeling left behind. We have been growing fast, and that can make it hard to build community. If you have not had a chance to learn about our Mentor Program yet, I encourage you to reach out to the HR team and get connected. Also, don't hesitate to call or email me or the HR team so we can talk about other ways we can help you feel more included in the Sevan family. As for your advice about implementing processes and procedures, our rapid growth has made developing and maintaining those difficult sometimes, but I want to assure you that we are working hard on improving. Our biggest initiative right now is implementing Dynamics 365 in combination with Crunchflow. It's taking time to get it right, but once it's up and running, I believe it will help us get much better in this important area.
