Pros

Opportunity to try your hand in several aspects of the company. In true start-up fashion, you will be able to gain experience cross-functionally. A lot of amazing people in the company that are happy to teach you, train you, and listen to your input.

Cons

Egos are a big issue at this company. While the product is a groundbreaking idea the politics of the company became a GIANT obstacle for progress. Leave the pride and personal stuff at home and keep things professional. Big lack of professionalism from a lot of "key" players at the company.

The company is out of funding

Pros

Was paying well when they were expanding into the US

Cons

Poor management, employees do not use or know the product, the company was not able to secure further funding resulting in a 10% headcount layoff. It was explained to employee's that layoffs and a holiday pre-order campaign were needed to raise money for the company to continue.
