Growth and Opportunity

Pros

My time at Shadow has offered far more knowledge, growth, and opportunity than previous time at large scale tech companies. In 6 months time I've been able to grow my career in a new direction- which is a major plus for a recent college graduate. Every employee in the office has a voice in the bigger picture, so your thoughts and opinions are heard. The office is the perfect amount of work and play. HR does a phenomenal job of ensuring that team-builds and game nights occur to keep communication and conversation comfortable between teams. Plus there's food :D I would recommend working at Shadow to anyone willing to work hard and be a team player- this is the future and I'm proud to be at the forefront of it!

Cons

In start up fashion, you have to be prepared to wear many hats-- this could be viewed as a con for some, but for me it's just opportunity to expand my knowledge.

Great environment and in transition for growth.

Pros

-Great people to work with for tech and video game interest. -Start up to a small work environment so you get to interact with a lot of departments and can map out if you want to make department moves. -They openly ask/interested where do you see yourself moving past your initial position.

Cons

-There are a lot of moving parts to get their product to run well. So it can be frustrating that you can do everything right support wise but if something we can't control interrupts service it reflects poorly on the product. -Infrastructure needs to grow/improve with the company for support and possibly dev to help their product be consistent for customers. - Growing pains. Tools and standard ops. procedures need to be developed and updated especially for customer support.
