Pros

You're not selling anything... kinda You're supported... if you're liked and like by the right people (don't give them a reason to look at you like prey) They want you to succeed (depends on your manager, some want you to succeed to make them look good, others do want you to progress and evolve. If you make it through the probationary slaughter and get one of the decent managers and have functional equipment that isn't breaking down or skewing your stats? You have an amazing job opportunity, the chance to do something that helps impact people's lives in a positive way without forcing product or sales into someone, there's hardly any escalated calls.

Cons

Some managers are there to look good so if you get the short stick or if you present yourself too well in the interview, the manager that wants to look good based off your work name not their leadership will pull you into their group as mine admitted, which my manager was contradicting mostly everything we were trained. Other managers even corrected the manager that contradicted training but that specific manager hardly ever showed up to new hire huddles and was friends with the higher management so it was their word against many new employees word. This selfish manager provided us the incorrect start date on daylight savings starting so they told a dozen employees to log off for work an hour early multiple days until other managers caught it and corrected it for us, however HR didn't care for that information, nor was he aware the manager told us NOT to follow our training, such as telling us we were suppose to leave a voicemail, however, we always a while day specificly on voicemail call flow, the other managers in the new higher huddles found out we were told not to do voice mails and they they themselves told us we should be leaving voicemails. The poor manager also would tell us to take 30 seconds to a minute in after call to relax if needed but also used that as a reason to fire us, HR again ate from the poor managers hand assuming that was correct. FAULTY GEAR DELIVERED TO REMOTE STAFF YOU MUST HOUND ANYONE YOU CAN FOR SOMETHING THAT IA BROKEN OR DOESNT WORK BEFORE CALLS START. I didn't received viral parts to my setup which left me down a monitor and my docking station was severely damaged which caused my whole system to shut down, crash, my mic and headphones to go mute and even though all this was brought to multiple managers attentions, nothing was done about it and that time fixing their equipment or making sure it would work was used against me to fire me, I would be up 2 hours early at my desk everyday to toggle and make sure everything worked first and I had to go get my own equipment to make sure I could do my job, HR again did not care that is what was hurting my case and that is why my poor manager was saying I wasn't a right fit for the company. My manager was livid they even had to get a message from me about technical difficulties or any updates on troubleshooting, basically if the poor manager had to do anything related to their job, you were giving them a reason to get rid of you. Poor manager and hr DO NOT follow their handbook guidelines for adherence wlwtc, id they are friends with that manager and that manager has some reason to dislike you... say goodbye to your job. I think 10 of the 18 people I trap we with all were fired by the end of the first week on phones due to the contradicting info the poor manager gave, if the poor manager noticed you were LGBT or had to do anything on your behalf, they were cutting you out without warning. The HR member who even read the entire adherence and code of conduct along with disciplinary map chose NOT to even follow company policy and said we weren't a good "fit" He and manager asked very very personal health questions as I needed 30 minutes early to go-to my oncologist, they wouldn't drop the topic either. Kept asking for specific info and when I told them them the job even helps me get my mind off those things, they completely acted different with me, I guess having an employee who is going through healthier and positive lifestyle changes is a bad thing in their eyes, for a company that's about improving and the lifestyle and health benefits of their clients. It just feels more like a gang of south eastern, heavy right winger housewives who are in leadership roles which their friends got them into because they're socio hate mongers that are more concerned about status than success.
