Supply planning has a great team, and there are some great social benefits.

Senior leadership is all 'stick and no carrot'. Achievements are overlooked, even those celebrated by peers, in favor of hammering infrequent, minor errors repetitively. There is a distinct absence of management, and support is dismissed as 'speak up if you need anything', which when you do, you're punished for doing so.
