Pros

If you like a fast-paced work environment where you are on-demand day and night, you'll thrive at Euro-Pro. Lots of free food to keep you motivated. Solid consumer products

Cons

Very robotic, aggressive culture with little humor and absolutely no work-life balance. Lots of confrontation and backstabbing. Senior management is non-strategic and suffers from bright shiny object syndrome, constantly shifting focus and priorities and inducing chronic fear in all employees. The threat of losing your job is ever-present as people are constantly "let go". Internal mantra is breakthrough innovation, though the actual practice is cover your backside. Data is hidden out of "the Marks'" view; if it's bad they don't see it. If it's good, it's exaggerated.

Pros

You'll get lots of experience scrambling for answers and lieing about how bad things are. If you can lie about something long enough it'll become someone elses problem. You'll be surrounded in good company if you're looking to try and mask your deep rooted emotional or spousal problems. Compensation is high enough that you'll be able to buy your wife and kids nice things to make them forget that you're never around.

Cons

The culture here is absolute garbage. Management and HR constantly spew that they are working on having a positive impact on the lives of both employees and customers, but it's patently false. I'm not alone, which is why the turnaround is 2 years. I've been in exec meetings where they start screaming and yelling and take their shoe off and bang it on the table. One of the most frequent questions asked is "How are you going to get me what I want?" which sounds exactly like my 5 year old niece. People here have very little desire to make great products here. People only care about looking good. Their not only encouraged, but also rewarded for stabbing you and using your body for a leg up to climb corporate hierarchy.

Pros

The money was fine. The team (was) great.

Cons

As many of the reviews state - there are too many cons to list in one review and remain somewhat objective - but I will try in hopes that I can sway any seasoned professional away from making a terrible career decision. The basic situation is this - they can't keep people long enough to have a positive work culture. This is evidenced by the steady stream of open positions listed here on Glassdoor or elsewhere. Either people leave quickly or fall victim to fickle, fire-happy upper management. I am not exaggerating when I say that I saw 3 people in one position over 2 years... and it looks like they are hiring for that role once again. Don't believe that your past experience means anything here. They don't want leaders, they want soldiers. They don't want ideas or advice, they want execution. I have found that the people most successful at this company are those that have not worked anywhere else to know that things don't have to be as bad as they are at SharkNinja.
