Pros

I really had a great experience in my 3+ years at SharkNinja. Witnessing the growth, change, and success during my time there was really exciting. The leadership does care despite what some reviews say. The bonus structure, holiday party, product discounts, free food trucks in the summer, etc. are perfect examples that Mark R. (CEO) and other leaders make an effort to reward the hard work that happens each day. Some days can be crazy busy and a little hectic, but both Shark and Ninja have number one market share... that has to take hard work! The successful people at SN don't have time to write reviews on here (negative or positive) because they're busy advancing in their career and working to keep Shark and Ninja #1. Seeing products you worked on hit #1 in the market time and time again never gets old.

Cons

That I have to leave! Spouse got a job 3,000 miles away and after our move I'll be staying home with the kids for a bit. There's some remote/flexible opportunities at SharkNinja, but I won't need to work with my wife's new role. If we ever move back to the Boston area, I know I'll have a place at SharkNinja.

Don't even think about it. Not worth it.

Pros

The people (some of them) make going to work tolerable. You can make the best of what you got with very little resources. You learn how to have thick skin in this place.

Cons

I don't know if there is enough space, but how convenient that they have a "featured" review from October at the top. Listen, just honestly don't do it to yourself. I joined when it was "Euro-Pro" and interrogating my recruiter based on the horrible Glass Door reviews. She done such a good job and convinced me so much, I actually joined. 6 months later, the one who recruited me - left! What does that say? This place is laughable at the very least. Processes are broken, everyone runs around doing either redundant work, or solving fire drills. This place loves meetings, you will minimally sit in 4 meetings a day (I used to love when I had less than five). You are CC'd for literally everything and strategy changes about 60 times before MP. They keep saying SN is going through "growing pains" and it's still a "start-up" feel but seriously at 1.5$ Bill/year, you'd think it would be a little more relieving than what a typical day to day looks like now. People say the pay is good but when you're working 60 hours a week minimum - is it worth it? I have literally seen people go to hospitals because of the amount of stress and anxiety here. Leadership is an absolute joke, egos are so big but no real work is being done! Honestly really, save yourself, and don't join. Until this company realizes that it's starts from the top, it's not going to change. There is some great talent here but a lot of cooks fighting for that one second of limelight. There are too many "breakthroughs" and "hacks" going around - and yet you still have to do your day job. The company is not growing as much as they used to.

Don't believe it

Pros

There are some very nice people that you'll work with (if they can manage to stick it out). It's just a shame how this company treats them. The pay is decent, but consider it hazard pay and to help offset the cost of living in Boston.

Cons

I'm not sure Glassdoor will allow enough space to write all of the reasons not to work for SharkNinja/Euro-Pro. Please look at all of the reviews for Euro-pro in addition to those here for "SharkNinja". I could almost believe they changed the company name just to get away from the poor reputation that Euro-Pro had. If you are reading this and actually considering working at SharkNinja/Euro-Pro, I would tell you to run (not walk) the other direction. Look through LinkedIn for some of the hundreds of ex-EuroPro employees and contact some of the ones who were in the position that you might be applying for to get the straight story. Don't believe any of the positive reviews here, they are planted by employees incentivised by EP management to do so. You'll see a lot of common themes in the reviews here - no work-life balance, crushing expectations, micromanagement from the top, massive turnover, unethical business practices, unprofessional top management, lack of strategy, constantly shifting priorities, lack of communication, toxic environment, horrible working conditions. Don't say you weren't warned.
