We are so short staffed all the time, constantly training new people and losing them again once they get enough experience to leave. It's a vicious cycle but I understand why people leave. This place burns you out after a while from the constant stress of having too many cases for not enough staff. turnover times are rough because NA's are short and theres almost no float RN's and techs to help open and set up because they are busy giving breaks. A lot of the rooms and equipment are also old and broken, and its up to you to figure it out most of the time.

They are promoting people with little nursin experience into manager roles. I believe it is to have more control. It is becoming very profit oriented to the detriment of nurses as well as patients. They don’t have enough doctors. They say all the stuff they do is federal contracts but we aren’t paid a pension. They try to fire older nurses. They want younger and cheaper RNs.
