Friendly people - I like everyone I work with, and everyone made me feel welcome when I started. No annoying cliques - Around lunch time you will often hear people say "Anyone want to go to lunch?" and everyone interested walks to a nearby restaurant for lunch. No politics - Another reviewer mentioned this, but it's worth mentioning again. Employees are appreciated - Good meals are regularly brought in - just to say thank you. Management understands programmers - Our manager is a programmer. Most importantly, you are treated like a responsible adult. This simple fact is missing from so many workplaces. Need to leave early? Need to come in late? Need to work from home today? Need to stay home and take care of a sick child today? Need to take the day off? Have a dentist appointment? Feeling a little sick and want to work from home? All of these are as simple as a quick email to let someone (or everyone) know whats going on. It's truly a great place to work!
