      Pros

      Very quickly you are given direct responsibility for project outcomes. Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing experience can be built easily and relatively quickly.

      Cons

      As is the case with most manufacturing sites, most locations are in small towns, not ideal for young/single people, but a great place for those with families.

      Pros

      Good pay. Company takes safety seriously. Good equipment. Ok vacation time. A lot of good people work for shaw industries.

      Cons

      The only difference between a 30 year employee and a day labor brought in for the week is the employee has more vacation. Advancement greatly enhanced with "Atlas Shrugged" type mindset. Job description changes moment to moment as management deems necessary.
