Pros

The pay, benefits, 9/80 schedule, highly competent coworkers, work life balance, and fascinating technology to work with offshore.

Cons

Largely limited to New Orleans or Houston locations, huge company that is slow to make decisions and change, management doesn't communicate very well, performance rankings are more political and popularity contest oriented rather than business impact oriented, ups and downs of oil industry leads to numerous layoffs, IT infrastructure lags basic standards, data management/control is essentially non-existent.

Pros

open-minded and friendly collegues, international opportunities, various training available, mentorship helpful, work-life balance, individual development well respected by managers, well designed training program for graduates

Cons

This is typical for traditional international companies - slow in project progress, lots of paper work and approvals to go through, trival HR related stuff to spend your time on, long meetings to participate everyday and you have to leave late after the working hours to finish your own stuff

Pros

Good Benefits. Work life balance in certain rolls. Working environment and tools given to perform in your roll. Management support.

Cons

Slow decision making. Lack of transparency. Teams tend to work in isolation which creates a duplication of tasks. Complicated processes
