Pros

Pay, benefits, opportunities, and training are top notch. There are good people who are mostly easy to work with and always willing to help. Corporate culture is definitely preferable to the Exxon types.

Cons

Company feels even bigger than it is...change happens slowly, every decision required full consensus (achieved through 4+ meetings) and there are layers upon layers of bureaucracy.

Pros

-Shell focuses on the development of its employee. They will help you overcome your weaknesses by providing trainings/ad hoc activities/coaching. -Good working environment, reiterates Diversity & Inclusion, respect for each employee. -Encourages free speaking of mind (i.e. one on one sessions with your Superior).

Cons

-Work overload. -Pay is unsatisfactory for employees in supervisory level due to long working hours spent in the office.

Pros

Opportunity for travel, great training, some projects are awesome, salaries for new employees are quite high, relaxed working environment (9/80s, etc)

Cons

May end up in a crappy project, lower level managers are for the most part just corporate jargon jack-in-the-boxes, level of process stifles agility and creativity, poor performers are not punished leading to low morale across teams
