      Great place to work for work/life balance

      Pros

      Profit sharing is a great perk. The benefits are better and cheaper than my previous career. They definitely believe in work/life balance, and allow you to work from home when needed. Supervisors and management have all gone out of their way to be welcoming and supportive. Lots of training, and they will pay for your certifications. They are also an honest insurance company. They are not just trying to make money off of people, and stress constantly how important it is that we "do the right thing" for the customer.

      Cons

      Starting pay is lower than most claims adjusters.

      Pros

      Shelter provides a very warm atmosphere. Everyone remembers your name and they treat you with respect. It feels like family! The good side of family!

      Cons

      If I have to put a con, the workload is a lot. But definitely worth it. Those of you that have insurance backgrounds know that insurance claims jobs are very busy anyway!
