Pros

Excellent place to develop you electrical skill set, the classes are phenomenal! Compensation is higher than most competing employers and most of the Technicians are great to work with.

Cons

Shop Management is horrible at best! The shop Supervisor and his Assistant Managers seem to enjoy berating people in front of other employees instead of having a private council. Nepotism/favoritism is slowly eroding the patience of more qualified and senior Techs. Weekly toolbox meetings are ineffective due to the lack of management contribution. Communication from management is difficult. Its a ,"Do as I say not as I do mentality."

Pros

Shermco requires ALL employees to practice high safety standards and backs it up with extensive training. This company is the real deal and has delivered as promised. Proper safety and and testing equipment are provided.

Cons

Sometimes the overtime can get heavy but I knew that going in. It seems we work most holidays but that's the nature of the business. My boss will let me off if needed.
