Pros

This is a great job out of college, but also has the potential to be long term career move. Many people stick around in this company for a long time because there are so many benefits to staying. Career growth and great upper management can be hard to find in a company, but Sherwin-Williams has both of those going for it. I felt like people actually cared about me here and that I was not just an asset that could be tossed aside at any point.

Cons

Retail obviously has it's challenges with crummy hours and oddly scheduled work weeks. Although it can be fairly easy for a recent college grad to become a manager and make good money quickly, it can be difficult to make significantly more money after this without a fairly big promotion (many times requiring relocation). Many managers get caught between the range of $55,000-$75,000/per year for a long time.
