Pros

Sherwin Williams is a good company overall. It also depends on the area you work in as well. For the most part, they do care but other times they just really don’t. I love who I work with as well, I have a great team so it makes it easier.

Cons

I dislike how rude, disrespectful, and horrible customers are. Especially men towards women. As a woman in the paint industry filled with men, I get degraded and treated horribly. I wish I felt more heard and seen but no one listens to what I have to say.

Pay and benefits are the only pros.

Cons

Physically demanding, will beat down your body. Insane amount of mandatory overtime. No work life balance. Management is clueless because they were promoted by being buddies of the Ops Manager instead of based off their resume and work history. Employees that are buddies with the Ops Manager will be protected even if they deserved to be terminated. Anyone who speaks up will be targeted and eventually terminated. Ops Manager should have been fired years ago for inappropriate relationship with employee, which was covered up for him tbe same way he covers up for his buddies. Favoritism that starts with the Ops Manager trickles down and only Employees in the buddy system get special function jobs and the best work assignments for higher productivity. NST time will be approved for some people but not others, Favoritism rooted.

- Work can be fun and fast paced, with days that are slower as well. - Manager was great and was very flexible with my schedule.(College Student) - Acquire a lot of knowledge and experience in cross-selling products. - Store is open 7 days a week so lots of opportunities for hours.

Cons

- Higher up management could be difficult to please. - Not any clear defined roles, everyone works essentially the same job besides managers - Turnover can be a issue at times, causing picking up additional hours.
