      Good place to work, Low responsibility and upward mobility

      Pros

      Good people and interesting customers. Everyday is something different and a good team environment.

      Cons

      Its almost impossible to get fired here even if you are a terrible employee. Very low responsibility, after a while it becomes a pretty boring job. There is also not much room for moving upward unless you get a degree and want to do outside sales.

      Pros

      A relaxed atmosphere can be found at all levels. Business model is solid and they continue to grow despite economic slowdowns. Most of the employees in any plant, store or lab are very friendly.

      Cons

      Effecting change can be difficult even when it makes economic sense. Red tape seems to hinder improvements along with strained inter-functional relationships.

      Pros

      If you are willing to move around the country you can move up the ladder quickly but must buy in to the corporate mantra.

      Cons

      Unobtainable sales goals. Heavily micro managed. Unreasonable hours. Seal Island..... degrading. SW was once a great place to work until the economy dipped. Everything is now micro managed and managers and sales reps are glorified sales associates.
