Too many hours

Pros

Bonuses are good if you have a good year and exceed budget; only good as store manager not much as an assistant. Controllable bonus is great.

Cons

You have to move every couple years to advance if you aren’t in a metro market. The only way to advance is to get a new position, so you have to wait for someone to leave their store or sales rep spot to move up. Store managers have to work at least 48 hours every week and a lot of stores are understaffed so you end up doing way more. Managers do not get overtime pay, you don’t get any extra money for the 60 hour weeks you will inevitably put in at least a few times if not many. Having good district leadership can make or break your experience.

Pros

You make up the schedule, most customers are cool, and business is driven to your store.

Cons

STAFFING and scheduling. Everyone is understaffed. 1 call out can ruin any plans you had. The pay is also not great for the amount of stress taken on
