      Cutting edge technology in the field of AI

      Cons

      If you are not top 1% talent in the industry, they will not hire you. If you're already employed by Shield AI, and your not performing at top 1% talent, they will get rid of you. They don't know how to staff accordingly with ramp ups/ in-sourcing efforts. They are trying to build an assembly line for a product that is still in R&D phase. Be prepared to wear multiple hats if you get hired on, but not compensated for the multiple job responsibilities. Tag ups and annual reviews are inconsistent and conflicting.

      San Diego is a great place to live. Ok health insurance

      Cons

      No time off and expected that work is your life. Poor leadership and micro-managers Poor pay and work/life balance do not exist Offer options that you have to pay for with no clear path to a payback. Lots of fairy dust

      Pros

      The work is stimulating, which can sometimes be stressful. The company is very mission driven and is succeeding in making an impact. Coworkers are intelligent and you will grow here. Company is well resourced and pay, equity, and bonuses are great.

      Cons

      In certain groups or at certain times, long hours can be needed. Expectations can change fast as the company grows quickly. Many groups expect members to be in office exclusively.
