Outside the department I worked in, people were really nice.

Cons

I can only speak for the department I worked in, but the favoritism was appalling. Certain employees were given enough work for job stability while others were left to the side. Favorites were called in the morning and told stay home if there was too much traffic or the weather was too bad. They were also given gifts, taken to lunch, only have to come in 1 day a week, presented to senior leadership for exposure, the list is endless. It was very obvious in meetings who the favorites were and who weren't. They also had no issues with getting time off, I had to write and explanation on why I needed time off.

Pros

Good 401k and vacation for employees. People seem to generally work together in most departments.

Cons

Clinical expects unrealistic work loads. Wheels are slow to turn with approvals for any change needing approval by HQ and sometimes no answer is the answer.

Great company for opportunity to grow and move up. They like to promote from within.

Cons

Parent company in Japan still has too much control of what is done here in the US. Senior management in US is not allowed to run things their way.
