Pros

Fun: This is one of Outside Magazine's Best Places to work. The hype is real. ShipCompliant treats you very well as an employee. It is a fun and open workplace and team-members are always going out together after work for adventures, events, drinking, eating, etc. There are a bunch of company sponsored events for team building and fun. You really get to know your coworkers very well. Perks are bountiful. Culture: You will not make it through the interview process if you do not fit the ShipCompliant culture. The process is longer than most companies and it is for good reason. Fit is very important. Everyone lives the culture here. It is not just words on a website. Every decision and action is driven by our cultural values. Open environment...I feel like I can walk up to anyone in the company and ask them questions. Fast: The work environment is fast paced and ever changing. If you do not like this type of work environment and need more structure this is likely not the place for you. Transparency: Lots of transparency in regards to financials, goals, vision. I know where we are at and where we are headed. Place to grow: Lots of in-house promotions. Promotions driven by proven wins and results.

Cons

Open work space can be distracting and loud sometimes...but the office has great views. How about some standing desks. Even the government has these now! The organizational structure gets confusing. Who reports to whom?

Pros

Industry leader with an innovative, market-leading product, inspiring / visionary leadership, great benefits and perks, reimbursement for professional development opportunities, fantastic core values-driven culture, casual and fun office environment (weekly wine hour!), ideal location downtown Boulder, the greatest teammates you'll ever have

Cons

If you like predictability in your workload, beware this is a fast-paced, highly iterative environment where you'll be expected to adapt quickly to change.

Pros

You are inspired and pushed to do things you enjoy. If you have an idea, DO IT. I work with some amazing and talented people. There are no jerks. The view of the Boulder mountains is absolutely gorgeous. My breathe has consistently been taken away by my coworkers. Everyone is on the same team and aligned with our company core values and purpose. We're rocking an industry and having fun doing it.

Cons

I can tell that this company is ready to undergo some rapid growth. If you don't like change, you shouldn't be here. This isn't really a con, but something that should be mentioned. Also - this is VERY much a WORK HARD, PLAY HARD environment. If you aren't down with that, then I really wouldn't consider working here.
