Pros

- Most of the people are friendly and helpful - Work/life balance is excellent. As someone that has worked in many software companies, this is as good as it gets. - They have been very empathetic and helpful during the pandemic and the BLM movement. - There are a lot of opportunities to grow

Cons

- Strategy is not well defined. We have roadmaps and OKRs but are not respected. - People have a hard time pushing back when unreasonable projects are requested by upper management. - The CEO has a preference for engineers and sometimes makes comments that are hurtful for other members of the team.

Pros

Coming from a large enterprise company with no culture and an attitude that lead to caring less about it's employees ShipStation is a breath of fresh air. Pros: - The work culture is amazing, unlimited PTO, free snacks, beer fridays - Work/Life balance is great, very respectful of your vacation and time off - Catered lunches on Wednesdays - Challenging work that lets you use your creativity - People really work with each other to solve problems without ego and friction - New people hired at the top that are smart and helping our product succeed The people here genuinely care about solving the design problem with you. That type of working environment breeds happier people and great ideas. I look forward to coming to work everyday which I think is a very important piece to someone being successful and happy.

Cons

- The health insurance could be better but is still pretty good
