High energy team, constantly learning, and the best view in Austin
Pros
A lot of work is put into the onboarding to ensure new hires have the best learning experience. Everyone on the team celebrates each other's wins with a ceremony every time you make progress on an opportunity stage or sign a new customer. It's a lot of fun and everyone is trying to bring energy daily. We use new tools and methods, such as videos. At first it seemed weird, but now it's like why not, it can only help an it does! The product is easy to use and the gets better every week with new features rolling out, and customers love having multiple functions like email marketing and inventory management under one roof. The CEO Katie May is awesome, she's approachable and sits out on the floor with everyone else which you don't typically see. Health insurance is much better than with my prior company and for most folks it's free, there's also free parking, a free gym in the building and different food trucks serving lunch every day. The office is bright and has by far the best views in Austin.
Cons
You are supported, but you will be challenged, and your sales will be visible to the company so if you are not ready to put in the work or you're not goal oriented, this is not for you. In the beginning there's a lot to learn, ecommerce is big and growing fast and you'll wonder how you will get to know it all. It takes time, but then it clicks and that's when it gets really fun.
