Pros

Free food Great coworkers Casual office Benefits aren’t bad Dogs

Cons

-Simply zero people value from management. You will be expected to work 8 or 10 hour days with 2 15 minute paid breaks and a one hour non paid lunch. Do not expect ANY work life balance -zero flexibility for missing days. You will be penalized on their asinine “points” system. -this is a call center gig. Do not let them lead you to believe otherwise. You will be getting yelled at constantly for 8(or 10) hours. Do not let this be a surprise. -you will work most Saturday and Sundays -your best case in a year is to move on to logistics or shopper success which are both extremely lateral moves IF and only if you have friends in those departments willing to hire you.

Pros

Since Shipt is a new company, there is a lot of opportunity and growth presented versus one that's been established for a long time. You also obtain the unique experience and skills that come with assisting and handling expansion and growth at a rapid pace. We change constantly, so being flexible and adaptable on the dime is necessary. If this meets your criteria, it's a great place to hone your skills, learn new ones, and work your way higher.

Cons

It can be a very high-stress environment. It's new, it's changing and learning and adapting to the demands of each growth we experience. Like with most startups, there are periods of hectic times and others that are more normal. If someone can't handle constant change or fluctuation in workload this would not be recommended.

Pros

You can make some money but it’s not consistent. I live in Spokane Washington and people here generally don’t tip. It is especially important as the cost of fuel and effect to shop for personal item and customization of every order.

Cons

I have done about 20 orders and only tips I’ve made so far is $8.00! Shipt should add a min. gratuity of 10% to every order that doesn’t tip within 24 hours. It also needs to be based on how large the order is. I took 6 half gallons two cases of diapers and a large laundry soap and gallon of bleach to the third floor. You wouldn’t even get this effort from a waitress.
