They play games with the shoppers rating. The job started out great for about a year, then they started giving out these "mystery 4" ratings, supposedly from customers. So you would scramble to get your rating back up, and in doing so you would take crummy orders, anything to get your rating back to a five. I started realizing they were doing it on purpose to get people to do a 40 mile round trip order for $6. Now their new rating system is if you fall to a 4.7 you are deactivated, yes deactivated no matter how hard and long you have worked for their company. Target owns shipt and at this point I would never recommend using shipt as a grocery provider for you, nor to work for shipt

The payouts themselves are not great (a lot of $6-$8 orders). Shoppers rely heavily on tips; without them, this job is not worth your time. Most of the offers are bundles that often include addresses in opposite directions from each other, far distances from the store, notorious non-tippers, etc., and you're basically being paid for the price of one order. Customer support has also gone downhill.
