Pros

Every now and then you'll meet good people to work with. You get a mediocre discount on shoes, which doesn't amount to much when you consider the fact that all the quality shoes are expensive and the cheaply made shoes have prices that reflect the quality.

Cons

I don't know where to start. The management at my store was atrocious. She was intolerant of the employee's schedules outside of work, hateful and acidic, and was incapable of leaving her personal business at the door, often talking openly (and in front of customers) about sexual escapades, fights with her husband, and other such things. The employees were a mixed bag of nuts; some of them were gems, and still others were rude, would not listen to instruction, and nearly incompetent when it came to sales. Don't apply to a mall store if you're looking for pleasant customers, and don't apply for a job at this company if you want to be treated like an adult. Any correction is handled as if you are a child to be scolded, and if you're sick, they expect you to go to the doctor and come back with a note -- yes, just like in elementary school if you wanted to get back to class with no demerits. Who goes to the doctor with every fever? That's right. No one. On a more practical level, this is a company operating in 2016 using DIAL-UP. That's unacceptable. It goes to show how out-of-touch home office is with its stores and the needs of the customers and employees. The merchandise is cheaply made; I can't even count all the times I had returns because shoes had simply fallen apart. I never blamed a customer when he or she left to shop elsewhere. Any changes are passed down like royal decrees and no input from the stores is accepted. At the risk of sounding unprofessional, I can truthfully say that I hated this place, and have no respect for the company.
