Would not recommend working for this company
Pros
I can see growth potential if more profession persons were hired within management
Cons
I worked for Shoe Dept. for 1 year and was very loyal to my job. I was required to have surgery and was out under a Dr.'s care for 4 weeks. The management was more concerned about when I was returning rather than how my condition had improved. The management blatantly continued to ask if I was making excuses to continue being out. Does the company hire Dr's to manage their businesses? Is management qualified to advise that I can return to work even though my surgical procedure had not heals. How dare they accuse me of delaying my return to work even though my Dr. advised I could not. My Dr. advised I could return after 4 weeks & upon the day I was to return, I receive a "Text" message from none other than the management asking if I was going to come up with another excuse not to return. This scenario occured after one year of employment with the company and up until my "required" surgery I had been a very loyal employee, working when & the hours needed to support the store's business. No one wants to work for an organization who treats their employees in this manner. No, I do not recommend this company as an employer.
