Solid products but an old school company

Pros

Nice product discount. Location wasn't bad in terms of distance from the city (versus other suburbs). Outside of the department I worked in, it's probably not as bad.

Cons

Weak management, poor leadership and decision making, benefits not up to date versus what other more modern companies offer, negative work environment where individualism rather than team work is encouraged. Individuals are openly criticized and reprimanded in front of their coworkers and/or supervisors. Again, I don't think this is the case in other departments but definitely in our department.

Pros

Okay pay and benefits. Great people and company culture.

Cons

Limited room for advancement being small company. Top down organization with a lot of direction from management versus empowerment. Limited resources and often unrealistic workloads.

Pros

Great corporate culture and atmosphere. All of the people that I work with are highly skilled, motivated, and a joy to work with. All of my managers have been very helpful, supportive, and fair. Great work-life balance (very few people work late or weekends on a regular basis). The products that the company makes have an excellent reputation, which is well-earned in my opinion due to their high quality, high reliability, and good feature set, along with the company's highly-respected customer support.

Cons

The product development process is a bit conservative and not on the bleeding edge of technology, though I think this is true of the audio industry in general. I am satisfied with the salary and benefits, but they seem to be somewhat below the industry average, as far as I can tell.
