Pros

As my first job, I've learned a lot here. The culture was great and leadership spot-on. I've had the pleasure of working with the most brilliant and talented individuals to make me who I am today.

Cons

Working up the ladder was difficult. Compensation and benefits weren't competitive at the time. Moving-on was the best strategy to diversify and become a leader.

Pros

Full of people passionate about audio and the products we make Best-in-class audio circuitry and DSP across the product line Outstanding musical and general corporate culture Healthy work-life balance

Cons

Things in general move slowly. Shure has been very successful for a long time, and is reluctant to change some of its old ways. People tend to never leave once they get to Shure. Not a bad thing to love where you work, but perhaps its a bit too comfortable in some regards.

Pros

Cool building, cool industry, some of the best co-workers you will find. Global companny with strong brand recognition in its industry.

Cons

Weak leader at the top, "old guard" not open to new people and new ways of doing business. High turnover in top management.
