Pros

Paid decently, but nothing great compared to market rates

Cons

Most of the Managers, Directors and above ,the "So called" Leaders in IT Department are a bunch of jokers ! CIO is also delusional lady surrounded by a bunch of sycophants who are outdated. All credits by the "workers" are sucked up by Managers, Directors. Any tiny mistake committed by workers is chastised badly and is escalated to highest levels. Very toxic environment!! Also, technologically they are very back dated with near zero vision. So you wont learn much other than sucking up to a bunch of idiots who are in Manager, Director, Senior Director levels. CIO is a micromanager, often going into useless details of which exact programs, reports, configurations are being done by whom. Rather, she should be focused on the vision, business benefits and the strategic road maps. These leader survive based on bonhomie they have had for years, often decades of working together in Shure. Hence they are all ganged up. If you are lucky, you become a part of the gang. Else it is going to be a nightmare.
