Pros

Shutterfly is a company with an incredible culture. There I found a place where dignity, justice, tolerance and appreciation of competence and merit are found. The company offers a wonderful work environment and opportunities for professional growth, leaders who are open to new ideas and who lead by example.

Cons

Improve wages. Many layoffs due to poor results in a group company have generated insecurity among employees.

Pros

pay is decent if you're a highschooler with financial support. (bi-weekly wasn't enough to pay the bare minimum sometimes because the pay was technically dated once a month.)

Cons

-training was chaotic at times -employees and manager gossip (especially about serious HR problems that happened) -Huge Favoritism affected hours and pay.

One of the best places to work

Pros

The leaders at Shutterfly have been working hard for the past couple of years to make the company a great place to work. They do care about their employees. I appreciate they take mental health seriously and advocate for employees to take time off when needed. The messaging and rules may slightly differ depending on what department/team you're on and your direct manager. But overall, they provide an engaging and fun environment. Pay may be under the typical rate depending on the position, so I recommend checking Glassdoor and negotiating as needed.

Cons

Shutterfly isn't perfect, but no organization is. Managers come in all shapes and sizes, which you'll find no matter where you go. You will have one person who trusts you and treats you like an adult and another who micromanages everyone and talks down to people. However, if you speak up and share your concerns, leadership does their best to listen and try to implement change where they can.
