Pros

The people I work with is top on my list. The people at Shutterfly are truly amazing. Its a culture of teamwork that is promoted from the top down. I really enjoy the team that I get to work with every day. I think we try to have fun in everything we do. I love our products, love our free employee codes and know that the customer always comes first.

Cons

Biggest con in my book is the amount of bonus for my position. I appreciate that we have a quarterly bonus program versus waiting until the end of the year. My only wish would be for a larger bonus percentage or differentiation based on your job level (employee, manager, director, etc). More stock options or equity would be nice as well. My former jobs have offered more in these areas then what Shutterfly has given to me.

Pros

We have an incredibly talented group of senior management and employees, and we treat each other with respect. We have a culture that rewards performance and good business thinking and strategy, and not politics. As a company that focuses on helping other create and preserve memories, many of which are related to families, we have great respect for our employees' needs to balance work and family life. It is also just plain fun to work on a product and service that you know makes others' lives happier and better.

Cons

As a medium-sized public company, we have somewhat limited resources to execute all of the great ideas that our team has. So we have to be patient and prioritize, which can be frustrating at times.
