Pros

I'm pretty new to the company, but I really enjoy my time here so far. We are in super growth mode, which means things are hectic at times, but if you thrive in this kind of environment, you'll feel right at home. One company value is "bias toward action," which means you never have to ask for permission to do something! I personally love it. It allows me to grow, experiment, and try new things. I think this is a great company with a great future, and it really has a tremendous opportunity to change how Americans experience health insurance.

Cons

Not so much a con as more of a nature of the beast, meaning the company is still a startup, so some of the internal operations, and logistics that would be catered to you at other companies, require your initiative. I also wish the company had unlimited PTO.

Pros

There is never a dull day at Sidecar Health. I get to work on novel legal issues and craft creative solutions across a variety of legal areas. We've built an incredible team full of really smart people across the organization, which has allowed me to upskill really fast. Plus, the mission-oriented nature of the company is really rewarding.

Cons

It's a startup, so there's a ton to do and generally too few people to do it all. Expect some late nights and some weekends here and there. Cash comp may be relatively lower than comparable jobs at more established companies, but lots of upside potential with stock.

Pros

The mission of Sidecar Health is really important to healthcare in this country. The team works really well together. It has a small company feel and I get to see different parts of the organization and wear different hats.

Cons

It's a startup so some processes have to be created from scratch but people are always willing to help.
