Pros

Sidley really treats their employees well. Wages and benefits are great. Ride-share benefits and PTO accumulates quickly, though caps at 210 hours. Located in near mass transit at the Gas company Tower in DTLA.

Cons

Because the corporate HQ is in Chicago there are occasional breakdowns in communication but generally they are straightened out quickly and professionally.

Pros

Sidley Austin is a great place to work. I have been with the firm for over 10 years, and have had nothing but positive experiences. Everyone, including attorneys and staff members, are respectful and easy to work with. Sidley supports the growth and development of its employees and offers the opportunity to advance their skills with tuition reimbursement, etc. The pay and benefits are great, as well!

Cons

Sidley tends to be a little behind with respect to technology.

Pros

Great firm to work with, benefits are good and co-workers are great to work with.

Cons

Working with the current secretarial management team is the pits. Very unprofessional and petty. Once they get their claws in you, that's it they will not let up. Attorney's aren't the ones complaining, it's management.
