      Pros

      Good location and decent commute; plenty of opportunity to earn extra money due to overtime; nicest people were legal assistants and secretaries.

      Cons

      Pressure cooker, stressful work environment; obnoxious, rude, pompous attorneys who don't appreciate staff; caste system very much in place between attorneys and staff.

      Pros

      Interesting work with a well-recognized firm. In DC the work environment is not as much of a grind as some other firms; collaborative and friendly, especially as deadlines approach.

      Cons

      Like many firms, your co-workers are not technically your bosses. This difference between management and colleagues is extremely annoying and counter-productive.
