Pros
Very professional setting with high standards and expectations from all. Good compensation and opportunities for growth.
Cons
Stringent culture. The firm treats lawyers as #1 and all supporting staff seen as butlers at Downton Abbey. Very "upstairs downstairs" culture. Which is fine but not great. Professional attire is a must and appearances are the top priority. Depending on your direct manager, it can be a supportive environment with great resources. Or you could end up in a day long seminar on how to write professional sounding emails that in the end won't matter because your manager is just a micro-manager and nothing you ever do is right. To call this place old school is an understatement... littered around the office were typewriters from the 1970s (in 2017). If you love pomp and circumstance, look no further.
