Pros

Sigma offers an outstanding opportunity for the right candidate. The financial prospects here are truly remarkable. Super high growth, super low churn and amazing GM’s with ever increasing efficiency puts this company in the top 10% of SaaS companies. And I've seen my fair share! Compensation is competitive, benefits are comprehensive, and the office perks are designed to enhance our workplace experience, such as daily dog walking services – a real hit with my pup :). Leadership at Sigma is known for its transparency and directness. Updates from the Board and investors are shared openly, ensuring everyone is informed. Now I guess that can be a bit much if you aren’t interested in knowing about the market or competition but in my role I love having that information. Means I can always evaluate my opportunity,

Cons

The culture here strikes a balance between firm expectations and fairness. They mean it when they say we are treated like adults and expected to meet performance goals. Falling short consistently may result in a change which can be hard (particularly for those that don’t make it) but on the positive side it means that my colleagues are all smart, clever and motivated people.

Pros

- product actually does what they say it does - compensation is great - I feel empowered to go start random projects

Cons

- Historically struggled with marketing and turnover. Seems like they're finally turning that around. - stricter in-office policies have caused us to miss out on some potentially great hires

Sigma Computing Response

So glad to hear you are enjoying working at Sigma. And owning projects - we love hearing that. We look for people that embody our principal of Acting like and Owner and hold the bar high! Being in office together, is not just policy, it is an ingrained part of our culture that we are not willing to compromise on. Being able to talk to stakeholders 1:1 has allowed us to move faster and nimbler, resulting in success - every step of the way the last few years. We accept that that means that some people can't be part of our journey but we're comfortable with that because we believe the sum of our team is better than any individual team member. We are glad to have you part of our team!
