Pros

The residents and families. Most co workers are caring people. We have nice scrubs yes am reaching for something positive.

Cons

Where to start. This company is no differnt then all the other awful ones in the nursing home business. We have a run down building, beds, etc. We have no staff the staff we do have are being worked to death and are leaving. The residents suffer. 99% of management sit in there offices all day and do not help. Our brand new administrator is more worried about parking her Lexus out front and decorating her office than care for our residents. This company talks about a " revolution in health care" Most managers are not trained CNAs and the ones who are , yeah don't bother to ask for there help. This company took away the staffs pick up bonuses they will not increase the wages and further more will not get agency in to help us. We have residents family members who come everyday that are caring for there loved ones because they know we have no staff and there are concerned!Once again a company making billions of dollars off the backs of low paid CNAs and nurses while the elderly suffer in a place that is as bad as a prison. The place is dirty run down the food is not good there is few activities in the buliding we have no transportation so our residents never get to go anywhere. The Serenity Unit is actually a locked unit for mentally ill younger residents who are violent and put the Alzheimers residents in danger. It is a depressing environment for residents and staff. This company may have started with the best intentions and own many 5 star facilities however the CEO needs to come to Indiana and see how we are suffering. I believe the company spred it's self too thin. Help us or sell out to someone who can properly care for these people.

Cons

Short on staff and staff we have is overworked. Poor Pt/staff ratio. No time for 1 on 1 when needed. Not enough time for rounds every 2 hours causing breakdown on coccyx and Peri areas.

Pros

Great colleagues, fun, and a good sense of employee recognition by the company. Definitely never a dull moment and continuous expansion keeps things very interesting. Very technologically savvy and tremendous marketing output.

Cons

"Spiritually" driven concepts and "servant leader" culture can be a turn off for those not interested in mixing religion with their professional life. Leadership can make life uncomfortable for those not drinking the Kool-Aid.
