1. You know about your social life, well you can forget about having one for awhile. If you work retail you know about the long weekend and evening hours every week. 2. Lazy co-workers. It doesn't take much to outshine your colleagues. 3. Miniscule pay raises. Granted the economy has dictated alot of this but 20 cent raises...c'mon man 4. Unequal pay. "Some of our worst employees make the most money in our department." That's a quote from one of the supervisors in my department...go figure. Tenure is everything here. If you are willing to make this your life's calling then I guess you've earned all these perks.

What worked 2 or 3 years ago does not work in this day and age. Retail stores have to be different and better then the competitors. How is this done? Managers have to be able to think outside the box they have been put in for so many years. You need to drive new customers in the stores as well as keeping the existing customers happy. How are you doing that? What tools have you given the managers to be creative? None. From what I have seen of the managers in some of your locations, they open the doors and wait. This does not work. This is not the way you run a bussiness, unless you want it to go in the wrong direction.
