Pros

Signet Maritime Corporation has decent pay starting out for most positions and you will have some great co-workers. That's about all the positives...

Cons

Work well over 40 hours each week- most shoreside employees are salary, if not all of them. There's a disconnect between management and employees as well. High expectations with little to no direction. Also expect to work on your vacation days. Emails constantly come in and you are expected to stay on top of them.

Benefits, decent pay, great promotions

Cons

As a salaried employee, you end up working well more than 40 hours and then expected to do everything. More than you can handle. Upper management is out of touch with work level. I was treated in a devious matter by the management outside our location. I was promised a lot and found out it was disingenuous.
