The only positive of this job is that it is remote.

Cons

Constant Micromanagement: You’re expected to be on the phone at all times, with supervisors monitoring even short breaks, like bathroom use. There’s little autonomy or understanding from management, which adds to the stress of the role. Low Compensation for High-Stress Work: Each appointment booked is rewarded with only $2.50, regardless of the time and effort involved. You’re often calling people who have already expressed disinterest, resulting in frequent rude or hostile responses from prospects. Unqualified and Biased Training: The trainer I was assigned lacked the qualifications and professionalism needed for the role. There was clear favoritism, and I was consistently overlooked during training. The trainer assigned me an unfavorable role, contributing to a negative and unwelcoming environment. Unprofessional Termination Process: The way I was informed of my termination was both impersonal and disorganized. I received an empty box for returning equipment with no prior explanation, followed by a Slack message from someone I’d never met informing me of my termination. This lack of communication and respect for employees is a serious red flag. Poor Management Practices: Management shows little regard for employee well-being or job security, letting people go without warning or a fair chance to improve. This disregard creates an unstable and unsupportive work environment, making it difficult to rely on this job for consistent income.

Pros

Supportive Leadership: Working with executive and C-suite leaders was a standout experience. They were approachable, appreciative, and always willing to help, which created a positive work environment. Collaborative Team: My team was fantastic! The collaborative spirit, willingness to share knowledge, and overall camaraderie made every day enjoyable. Professional Growth: The role allowed me to hone my skills in technical support, system troubleshooting, and IT management. I had the opportunity to tackle complex issues, support a wide range of end-users, and learn from some very talented individuals. Great Company Culture: Signify Health fosters a supportive and inclusive culture, which made it a pleasure to come to work every day.

Cons

Fast-Paced Environment: The pace was often very fast, which could be overwhelming at times, but it was also a great way to develop problem-solving skills and learn to prioritize effectively. Limited Resources: At times, there were constraints on resources, which made some tasks challenging, but the team always found creative solutions.
