Pros

I can't say there where any besides the pay.

Cons

They do not deliver what was promised. Expectations were unclear. Would go weeks if not months without hearing from manager. Very isolating.

Pros

It is Flexible job. Pay for hotel stay and car rental granted to complete day's work. I Feel like im definitely giving back in the NYC community and meeting alot of people. You get to work with some underserved members of the community which is a type of population I enjoy.

Cons

Random cancelations, inconsistent number of patients per day. It wad advertised 8-9 per day and some days im only seeing 3-4 a day. At times I'm driving to different boroughs in one day and traffic isnt accounted for in NYC.

Pros

When I started here, it was great. It was my first shot at a job like mine (keeping it vague, sorry) and the company was awesome for giving newbies a chance (many places don’t!). Management was amazing; they were always hyping us up and doing things to make us feel appreciated. As a company, they do offer some decent benefits, and working remotely is also a plus. Flexible work week which is definitely nice, although it comes with caveats. “Unlimited” PTO but again comes with caveats.

Cons

Like I said, it was great when I began. Things have changed pretty drastically in the last year or so. Major management changes, and the company was also acquired by CVS. I’m really not sure which created the issues, possibly a bit of both, but suddenly some of perks we used to get (the ones that really made us feel good!) were taken away at the same time that things really went haywire. They used to hire people new to the profession but now they no longer do, which stinks because not a lot of companies will and it can be hard to break into. Lots of changes and expectations happened all at once and created a lot of stress. Several of the managers who were there when I began left when the new ones were brought in (ie, when everything started to change), and that was a major red flag. I think they knew something we all didn’t but of course probably couldn’t say anything. They now “big-brother” us like crazy and maybe it’s just me, but there always is a feeling I’m somehow doing something wrong even when I’m not. My anxiety has gotten so bad since this began and overall morale (for the entire department) has been pretty low from what I can tell (remote work, so you can only “see” people online). People have been leaving in droves in recent months so I know it’s not just me feeling this way. I’m sure it’s partly because they might be getting paid more elsewhere, but I’d almost put money on the main reason being how bad things have gotten and people are tired of being treated like children instead of feeling appreciated like we used to. I’m cautious about adding too much info here, but if you’re looking to get into any of the operational jobs, just do a lot of asking around and see if it’s worth it to you.
