Pros

Competitive pay Smart, dedicated people at the Manager and Director level (a few strong VPs).

Cons

Lots of VPs. So many, in fact, that no one has influence in the organization. Very few Analysts and Sr. Analysts, which means Managers and Directors do the actual work. Poor execution in sales because the value prop is not clear. Without clearly understanding the value you bring, how can you expect to sell your services? Lack of accountability across the organization means decision-making is very slow. There are some stellar VPs, but most are out of their depth. Most SVPs lack strategic vision and end up in the weeds or worse - absent. No options for career advancement.
