Pros

Signifyd has a lot great people that really care about their work and others. Most people I work with in my day-to-day are kind, humble, and helpful. There are a lot of employees who have been here over 6/7 years, which I think is telling of the culture here. The four day workweek is amazing. Of course there will be times for everyone where they might need to work on Fridays, but there's still a ton of flexibility. I would much rather have my extra work land on a Friday than a Saturday. Signfyd is a true remote-first company. Offices are still around, but not a lot of people go in from my understanding. It's nice to have the option if you're nearby one, but not be forced to go in. There is still an emphasis on DE&I which is nice to see as other companies are backing down from that.

Cons

Growth has been slow and working can feel like a grind - doing more with less. Travel and in-person opportunities do seem to vary based on your team. If you're not on a sales or marketing team, you might not have a lot of opportunities to do a team off-site.

Pros

- It has the rare combination of a 4-day work week, work from home, and the option to go into a physical office if you'd like, depending on where you live. - While the company is in a growth phase, it's mature enough that there's a good deal of stability and the right level of process. In my experience, a project might pause for something more urgent, but you typically get to see it through to the end (as opposed to poorly thought out projects I've sometimes seen elsewhere). - The engineering organization is a good size. It's big enough to have a broad range of specializations, growth opportunities, and challenging projects while also being small enough that your work is usually impactful and you can make your voice heard. - Those I've interacted with have been positive, collaborative, humble, and (nearly always) motivated. I haven't always seen this at other companies, particularly with regard to collaboration (silos). - I see a drive to iterate on and improve how we operate over time. This isn't necessarily true of larger, slower companies.

Cons

- Non-critical, maintenance-related initiatives sometimes lose momentum on departure of the product/project owner. - The industry is competitive, so rapid growth is a challenge. - It can be difficult to meet with people in other time zones as there's limited overlap.
