Pros

Silver Air has been a great place to continue developing my technical and problem-solving skills, as well as my personal growth, since I've been exposed to many different aspects of the business. There is a lot of opportunity because the company is continuing to grow and expand. The environment can be fast-paced and demanding, but there is a strong focus on safety and compliance throughout the operation. The benefits package is great, and the flexibility offered allows for a healthy work-life balance.

Cons

As with any growing company, some patience and adaptability are needed as new ideas and process improvements are implemented.

This company functions as a tight-knit group group of professionals that offers a boutique experience for aircraft owners and passengers. To achieve this, the company culture strives to keep pilots are in the right state of mind to deliver this level of service. This starts internally, and monthly pilot meetings have a personal touch where most pilots are familiar with each other and open discourse is encouraged.

Cons

The nature of the business means that it is subject to the whims of aircraft owners.

Pros

I've worked at several corporate companies and Silver Air is by far the best! The people, culture, work life balance, benefits, pay, growth and opportunities are at the highest level you'll find! Being in aviation and knowing it can be 24/7, the executive team does an excellent job making sure their teams are taking time to unwind and unplug appropriately. They truly care for their team and clients and you can feel it working here.

Cons

I won't say aviation as a whole is a 'con' but it's certainly not for everyone! It's a fast paced environment and that does not work for all. This is not a negative on Silver Air - they do an excellent job of making sure teams are balanced and there is always someone available if you are not.
