They have a slogan "love greater than fear" which is a complete lie! They bought our building and came in and fired 70 percent of staff---some of them because they couldn't read English well enough!!!!!

Pros

Silverado is the best company for which I have ever worked. The whole associate team care about our residents, our family members, and each other. The Leadership team from the Home Office provides so much support to the communities and each individual associate. There is so much true care in our Plano community, as well as the entire organization.

Cons

No cons so that I have found so far. It is a tough job to work in the senior industry, especially in memory care. However, Silverado provides support groups, fun and love to all of us, and plenty of love and support.

I love working here. My coworkers are so great and really easy to talk to. If there is ever a problem, we solve the problem as a team. Team work is big in this company, and I really love that.

Cons

The only con is that I am part time, so I never really see any of the full time employees.
